Rich Kozlowski passed away on June 5, 2019 at the age of 62, surrounded by his loving family. Rich was born on December 22, 1956 in Chicago, Illinois where he spent the majority of his life. He moved to Longmont, Colorado in 2002 to be closer to his parents and siblings.
Rich was a husband, a father, a brother, a grandfather, a friend and mentor who enjoyed politics, football games, good food, camping, scuba diving, fishing, family, and helping others. Day and night Rich was always available for the people he cared for. He was a "Handyman at Heart" and a business man who treated everyone fairly.
Rich started his career as an Aircraft Mechanic in the United States Navy. He worked on aircrafts that were used in the movie "Top Gun". After serving our country he became a Firefighter and a Search and Rescue Diver who specialized in under ice diving. Later in life Rich became one of the best Job Recruiters and Talent Scouts.
Rich will be remembered by his loved ones as a proud, devoted, honest, selfless man who always took care of his family and friends and as a fighter for life until the very end. The moments we have shared along with his good advices will continue to live on through us.
