Ray was born on September 1st, 1936 in Batavia, NY, the first child of Dr. Raymond L. Warn and Hermione (Wilcox) Warn. He graduated from Elba High School, in Elba NY in 1954 and then completed a post graduate year at Blair Academy in Blairstown, NJ in 1955. Ray enlisted in the United States Airforce in 1957 and remained on active duty until 1960. He then was in the USAF Reserves until 1963. In 1964 he married Marjorie (Marge) M. After a few years he moved to Norfolk, VA and eventually retired to Longmont, CO.  Ray was an avid reader and would usually have 2-3 murder mystery books going at one time. He also loved baseball, particularly the Boston Red Sox and the Colorado Rockies, which made the 2007 World Series very interesting for him. For the last 9 years of his life Ray lived at the St. Vrain Manor in Longmont, where he served on the Resident Council and tended the resident library. He thoroughly enjoyed his time there and the community it provided him. Ray’s absolute pride and joy were his children (4), grandchildren (10) and great grandchildren (2 and counting). Ray is survived by his brother Peter and wife Manya Warn, of Williamsville, NY. His brother Charles (Roby) and his wife Sandy Warn of Auburn, NY. His sister Susan (Suky) and the late Charles (Bud) Futch of Virginia Beach, VA. His children: Susan (Sue) Sperrazza and her husband Carl of West Seneca, NY; son R. Paul Warn and wife Jacqueline (Jackie) of Las Vegas, NV; son David Warn and wife Shawn of Longmont, CO; and daughter Kathleen Dingman and husband Chris of Elfin Forest, CA.
