Nancy Ellen Schaper passed away quietly on October 14, 2019, just a day short of her 70th birthday. She was born on October 15, 1949 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri to Bernard J. Schaper and Dorothy Fulbright Schaper. She graduated Salutatorian from Jackson High School in Jackson, Missouri in 1967. She attended Drury College in Springfield, Missouri from 1967-1969 and graduated from the University of Hawaii in Honolulu in 1978 with a B.A. in European Languages. Nancy passionately loved Hawaii and was a resident there from 1969-1987. She moved to Boulder, Colorado in 1993 where she owned and operated Mysterium Visionary Music store from 1995-1997. She was a resident of Longmont, Colorado from 2010 to 2019. Nancy loved music, books, and the aspens in the fall. She had an artist's eye and appreciation for beauty. According to her wishes, her ashes will be scattered privately by her family. Nancy is survived by her sister, Teri Schaper Allen with brother-in-law Thomas of Temple Texas; her nephew, Peter Allen, of Temple; and her niece, Mary Chapman, of Leipzig, Germany.
