John T Kline was born September 24, 1947 in Pennsylvania.

His parents were Walter & Miriam Kline. He was the youngest of 6 children all still living except Rachel. He is survived by his wife Patty, son Karl, daughter Karen, son-in-law Kurt, granddaughter Amber, grandson Kent, sister Eunice (Spouse Bob), brother Mark (Spouse Brenda), brother Paul (spouse Bonnie), sister Mary, several brother and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.

He lived in PA until he was in high school when they moved to Colorado where he attended North High School.  He met Patty while attending church with his parents at the Church of GOD Holiness. They married when they were 18 and 19 years old and begat their two children, Karl and Karen.

He worked for IBM where he accepted an early retirement then began working at Hewlett Packard where he also took an early retirement. After retiring he and Pat traveled and enjoyed many vacations “adventures” together.

His hobbies included working on computers, photography and his latest was woodworking. He was looking forward to building a bed out of walnut for Pat.

He loved most kinds of music and was the song leader for many years at Ambassador Baptist Church. He sang along to the music and enjoyed quizzing others as to the artist and name of the song, especially during all night drives to Grand Junction to visit family.

During his retirement he worked as an elections judge, graded school papers, assisted at the post office during the holidays. He had many projects he was working on in the house as well.

His love of playing games, especially Phase 10, brought laughter and joy to family time.

His quick wit and humor endeared him to many and he will be missed greatly.
