Ethel Bell Cinnamon

January 13, 1924 ~ February 10, 2019 (age 95)

Ethel B Cinnamon, 95, of Lyons, Colorado passed away at her home on February 10, 2019. She was born January 13, 1924 in Lathrop, Missouri. She was one of eleven children She married Clinton (Speck) Cinnamon on December 13, 1947 in Denver Colorado. She devoted her life to raising her children.

She opened her heart and home to innumerable people sharing love and hospitality to extended family and friends. She was known as “Aunt Dude” throughout Lyons. She loved to camp, fish, and crochet, sew, read and garden.

Ethel was preceded in death by her husband Clinton and her son Michael Wayne.

She is survived by her son, Gary Cinnamon (wife Susan), daughter, Carolyn Cinnamon, and son Gordon Cinnamon. Grandchildren; Tracy Roller, Sarah Cinnamon, Gregory Cinnamon, Kjersti and Bryce Francom. Great grandchildren; Hailey and Hannah Roller. Numerous nephews and nieces, all who she adored.

A viewing will be held on Saturday, February 16 at 10:00am at The River Community Church – 18668 N. St. Vrain Dr., Lyons, Colorado 80540, with a Celebration of Life to follow at 11:00am. Interment will be at the Hygiene Cemetery with a reception to follow back at The River Community Church.
