Barb, (as her friends called her) was a first grade teacher, teacher’s aide, sold cosmetics, ministered to many people living with and dying of AIDS, was a Communion minister and a Spiritual Director (Counselor) for nearly 20 years. She and Ernie were always singing in choirs in church as both loved music. Barb spent the rest of her life composing short stories and family history. Barb and Ernie traveled and their kids (in their younger years) traveled all over the United States in one camper or another and later on she and Ernie were able to travel to Israel with wonderful members of their church. She loved her family more than life itself and wrote about it with a deep passion almost daily. Her family is grateful to have her words to live on for the rest of their lives. Her empathetic heart laughed, loved and cried with family, friends and even those she did not know.
Barb will be remembered for her smile and her caring for all. She loved many people and her desire to help to be supportive and compassionate, particularly to the “outcast” knew no bounds.
Barb will be mourned and remembered by her husband, children and grandchildren and many relatives and friends.
“Beloved by many, loved many” …. That was Barb.
