The world became a better place on July 28, 1969 when beautiful Bonnie Lynn Skinner (Kacic) was born in Cleveland, OH. On August 11, 2020 at the young age of 51, Bonnie was stolen from all of us. The world lost a radiant soul that tragic day.
It was at The Falls Family Restaurant in Olmsted Falls, OH that Bonnie found her passion for cooking. She worked tirelessly for her family’s business for many years. Her love for cooking is what caught the eye of Joe Skinner. Their love story started with them, and grew to include Paige, Abigayle and Anna, as well as many fur babies. A truly selfless family, that always went out of their way to help those in need.
Bonnie and her family moved to Brighton, CO in 2015, where they quickly made a cozy, loving home. Bonnie brought her love for cooking with her to Colorado and blessed many kitchens with her dedicated talent. She left The Rusty Melon with a forever void in the heart of the house.
Bonnie was known for her hard work ethic, but most importantly she was known as the best mother. Her greatest achievement in life was her three daughters. You could not have a conversation with Bonnie without her mentioning the girls all while she held a huge smile on her face. Her motherly heart went beyond just her daughters, she had a large following of others that looked up to her for advice, encouragement, and love. She will be missed as a second mom to more than one can count.
Bonnie is survived by her doting husband Joe Skinner. Her beautiful daughters- Paige, Abigayle and Anna. Her mother- Kathy Kacic, niece- Kateland Kacic, cousin- Stacy Dove & Cathy Keppler, as well as many friends.
She was preceded in death by her sister Christine Kacic, her father Albert Kacic and her Grandma Schnabel.
A private service will take place in Colorado and a celebration of her life will take place in Ohio, date to be determined.
