Karina Rodriguez was very loving, sweet, humble, and kind. She loved to listen to her country music no matter what she was doing. She met lots of people whose hearts were touched in many positive ways. Everyone loved the way she helped out with anything she could. She loved kids. Karina became the second mother to her now four year old nephew and was also a godmother. She studied hard in an online college while helping out her dad with his business. She got many awards in middle and high school.
I remember when I would want to go to an Avs game and I know she wanted to go with me, but wouldn’t say anything. I would always have to ask her to see if our mom would let her go with my son and I. She liked going with because we would always ask to go down by the ice and take pics and see the Avs practice.-Jackie
I would always call her to ask her if she would take care of Nathan whenever my husband and I would go out. She would always say yes even if she had homework to do. Every time Nathan would come visit, she would take lots of pictures and videos of what they were doing. Sometimes she would keep me updated on how he was doing. -Jackie
She loved going to visit grandma in Texas. She would always want to stay for one more week. I remember once that I went with the family and took Nathan with me for the first time. She helped me calm Nathan down because he was getting nervous that he didn’t know the place.-Jackie
Karina: Now that you’re not here, Nathan won’t step in your room. So don’t worry about him making a mess. He does go down stairs to peek in there, but he won’t go in. He knows where you are now and he keeps telling me that he’s too little to go with you. I don’t know if that means that you have talked to him or not, but if you do, keep talking to him he will need it. Keep watching over us. Keep us on the right road. We will miss you a lot. We also want you to know we love you a lot.
