We met Leslie many years ago in the Southmoor Park area of Longmont when we were all young parents raising our kids there. She was sweet, cute and friendly then and the few times we saw her in the years since, she seemed that same person…lovely.

Our loving thoughts are sent to Leslie’s wonderful family.

We’ve lost a lovely person–inside and out. She made such a difference to the people she touched. Her UCAR family will miss her. My condolences go out to you for the loss of your mother, sister and grandmother. In this time of sadness we also know we’ve gained an angel in Leslie.

I have spent a lot of time in the NCAR FL Library over the last 20 years that it has existed. When Leslie came to the NCAR library, she was always very pleasant and helpful. We will all miss her.

In recent years my visits with Leslie were when we’d run into each other around town. At each visit she’d report happiness with her job and progress of the kids. John and I were shocked and saddened to hear of her passing.
Leslie was a very important friend to me for many wonderful years while raising our families as neighbors on Budd Court. She was incredibly giving and loving of her time and talents. She taught me lots about raising kids and demonstrated loving mothering.
We sorrow with you at this tough time. We will say Goodbye Leslie. Thank you for your friendship and the memories of a beautiful, courageous woman.

Uncle Al & Aunt Hannah were always welcoming to my family whenever we were in Longmont to see them. He loved his family and his Church and enjoyed talking about his boyhood in Kansas.

We will miss him and know that he and Aunt Hannah can now watch John Wayne movies together in a better place with healthier bodies.

You and Aunt Hannah were always so fun and great to be with and you will be sorely missed. Even though we didn’t get to Longmont as much as we liked, we knew your home was always welcoming and we could enjoy a lot of good memories in an afternoon visit with you. I will always remember your infectious laugh and jolly nature, Uncle Al.

I just can’t say how sorry I am that I can not be there to say good bye to Leslie!! I remember her as Barb and Marilyns little sister that I always thought was so darn cute. I even named my doll, Leslie, after her. I know she will be missed so much by her family and I just am so sorry I wasn’t in Kenosha when Leslie and Barb came to visit!

Alvin was a very dear friend of my dad and mother and to Ilene & Allen, he and Hanna would always check on us after my dad passed away and he did it after Allen passed way. We always concider Alvin as a dad to us. Mom and I are sending our thoughts and prayers to all the family.
