Emma and Jack,
My thoughts are with you both. And also with Seth. Naomi was such a gracious woman all the way through her battle with cancer. I wish you both peace now that she has passed.
Relationship: friend
Your City: Boulder
To Naomi’s family & friends,
Know that my thoughts and prayers surround you during this difficult time. May the Lord give you His peace. You are in my prayers.
God saw her getting tired and a cure was not to be. So He put His arms around her and whispered “come to me.” With tearful eyes we watched you, and saw you pass away. Although we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hardworking hands at rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best.
Naomi and I are classmates, having first gone to Central Elementary together and on through.
I thought of her at length a week ago when I was waiting for my husband to do an art project in downtown Ft. Collins. Sitting outside on a bench, I noticed an old building across the street named the Honstein Building. This told me that Naomi’s family went way back and were involved in several communities around here.
I had no idea that I’d then see her obituary. I have many fond memories of her. Laurel
